After being away the past couple weekends, I am so excited to have some time to...
Look for some cool leather pants to wear with sneaks.
Enjoy a BBQ involving tennis, hiking, and yumminess.
Work on the house. Hang some more art (finally). Design the daybed for the guest room. Prep for the new countertops.
And of course have a little beach time with my love.

Eight years ago today, Buzz and I celebrated our first Valentines Day together. He led me down a dark path to a beautiful beach, built a bonfire, and then made one of the most incredibly delicious meals ever. I pinched myself the entire time. I still pinch myself eight years later. He really is that lovely.
get away
Travel is at the top of my 2014 list. I've never really set aside the time and just booked the flight, but this year will be different. And Hotel Escondido is calling my name..
