This bath is so tasteful, minimal yet warm, and classic.

I must do this somewhere.
I really love thistles - they strike this perfect balance of lush, natural architecture. And I really love this wallpaper.
Those super-sized windows are the bomb.
What would we do if we Fitzgerald hadn't left us with all that he did?
Spend a LOT of time outside. Picnics, swimming, my sister's graduation!
Jump in the ocean.
Beat my family in ping pong.
Beautify - my home, closet...
Revamp my garden!
I so appreciate this pool set in such a natural way.
After being away the past couple weekends, I am so excited to have some time to...
Look for some cool leather pants to wear with sneaks.
Enjoy a BBQ involving tennis, hiking, and yumminess.
Work on the house. Hang some more art (finally). Design the daybed for the guest room. Prep for the new countertops.
And of course have a little beach time with my love.
After a fantastic day at the BNP with insane tennis, we retreated to Korakia Pensione. Absolute perfection! We watched a bit of a classic film under the stars, sipped tea by the fire pit and waterfall, then rode bikes to dinner in the warm desert night with the abundant smell of orange blossoms. After a delicious dinner at our favorite in Palm Springs, La Vallouris, it was a peaceful night of sleep sans television (hotel policy). We woke for sunrise yoga on the yoga deck, ate a fresh breakfast in the courtyard and swam in the salt water pool. Idyllic to say the least. Until next week, Pensione...
I am a fan of Harriet Anstruther Studio's work. But their tagline is the most brilliant: shit loads of talent.
Eight years ago today, Buzz and I celebrated our first Valentines Day together. He led me down a dark path to a beautiful beach, built a bonfire, and then made one of the most incredibly delicious meals ever. I pinched myself the entire time. I still pinch myself eight years later. He really is that lovely.
After having the mantle installed at Malibu Racquet Club, I struggled with finding pieces I felt worthy of placing on such a beautiful piece of live-edge teak. I came across Humble Ceramics in a post on Remodelista and reached out to Delphine. She very kindly invited me to her studio to select some pieces. The apple seed vases look divine with the fresh cherry blossom branches, the God's Ear sculpture holds our intentions, and the beautiful hand-distressed bowls house fresh oregano, succulents and ferns. It is so fulfilling to find people who truly love what they do, and each and every piece of Delphine's work reflects her passion and talent. I am so grateful to see these works of art everyday, and cannot wait to expand our Humble Ceramics collection.
This is the perfect compromise of everything I want our guest room to be.
Just finished this beautiful book. Highly recommend. Especially to those that appreciate and live for beauty and art.
